1999 Yamaha SA-2200

Another case of the Japanese improving on an American design, and doing it at a reasonable price!

Laminated maple front, sides and back. All nicely flamed, with a solid maple block running the full
length of the body. Solid mahogany neck, split-block mother of pearl inlays on an ebony fretboard with
22 nicely polished, heavy frets. 3 way switch for the two powerful alnico V magnet humbucker pickups,
with push-push switches on the tone controls for splitting the coils. Stop-bar tailpiece and tune-o-matic
bridge with Yamaha (imitation Gotoh) tuners. Other than the imitation Gotoh's, an ES335 has nothing
on this guitar, but then I don't like Gotoh's anyway, so I'm planning on putting Spezel Trimlocks on
this baby.
